OTR-TNT and Zoot too ?

I'm always hesitent to air things like this but when it reaches epidemic proportions we need to work together for the sake of the big picture. All I can say at this stage is I hope it helped, and thankfully TFD ;-) wasn't infected.

It's so very nice and restful to be one of the guests (inmates) at your little country retreat (asylum). The padding on the walls of my room are so nice and it even extends across the floor. But do I really have to wear this white sport jacket? The arms are much too long and you have them tied up in the back.

I also agree!

All of you folks are great! Cool

I realize this is off topic, but was wondering:
It has been a while since I was on TNT--my MediaMax account lost a lot of stuff, given the MM problems, and I have not pursued it ...

What are the current problems with MediaFire?

Please forgive my ignorance, but I am curious! Question Confused

Paul,

We would like to know what is happening at MediaFire. Some of us have lost all our accounts and our login IDs without any explanation and without getting any responses to the numerous requests for help that have been sent. Others, hosting similar or identical files in smaller or larger quantities are still fine. It does all tend to reinforce the paranoia view I'm sad to say. At least MF could have the courtesy to respond to us - if not indivdually then collectively. Some at 154 have even suggested that there is a spy in our midst. I'm don't subscribe to that but it is possible of course.

Meanwhile, they often have a server that is down and files become temporarily unavailable but this seems to be a different problem and if you try a few days later all seems to be fine.

I was thinking along the same lines ...
Lost accounts/logins is a certainly in-the-face rejection Rolling Eyes ...

Times are changing, I guess, and we must change with them: "Men [and women] make their own histories, but not in the circumstances of their own choosing." ... I guess what I am saying (I need to watch the source of my quotations!) is that social control(s) and regulation seem to be ever extending ... we are (very sadly) way past 1984 ... and the stahlhartes Gehäuse ("iron cage") is evermore [ubiquitous/]

... It is most unfortunate and frustrating to everyone suffering Evil or Very Mad ... given (outside) sources/servers that are just not reliable, I guess ...
My heart-felt condolences Exclamation

What can I say? "Hope springs eternal ..."
All of which points (I think) to more diligence--if not security ...
(Oh, To the good old days ...)
