It's come to our attention that sometimes when a person registers, the confirmation email the forum is "supposed" to send doesn't arrive at your inbox as it should. If you encounter this problem, please just drop an email and bings or I will activate your login.

or

Sorry for the inconvenience but the spammers do their level best to inconvenience us all. I'm sure you understand and will bear with us. Thanks.

I thought that I wasn't getting notices when people would post responses to different threads until I found them all in my spam box.

I then added the address to my contact list.

Everything is much better now.

I registered a couple of days ago and never received the promised activation email. Yet not too long afterwards I was able to log in anyway.

Strange!

I look through the list of people who register each day to make sure their registrations were activated properly. When I spot one that hasn't gone through, I manually activate the account. That's what happened with yours, Zen. Wink

I don't think you needed one... I think your account was a Fear-of Being-Beaten-Down activation.

I got in on a Fear-of Being-Nagged-to-Death deal...

EDIT: Following a hunch based on something Radar posted above, I did find the email in my Junk folder: just one reason why I never trust spam filters!
