Wish List
In putting together this site I've had a few goals in mind. First and foremost was to provide a complete set of Vic and Sade recordings. This entailed sifting through duplicate files and attempting to find the best sound available. Second was to supplement the episodes with as much factual information as I could find. This entailed seeking out first-hand sources. And while the quest has met with moderate success, there are still quite a few things I've been unable to do. So, I hope that by providing a list of "wanted" things, I might call upon Vic and Sadists everywhere to help along with the project. So....
Analogue recordings. I have created most files on this site personally. Most have been from analogue recordings, all in my possession, but a few have been digital. So, if you have, or can get ahold of, first generation (transcriptions) or near first generation (audio tapes) analogue recordings, then I hope we can work something out to make mp3 encodes in order to improve the overall quality of the files on this site.
Rumored MP3 files. I have heard rumors that the second wave of recordings - you know the ones, they were unearthed some time through the '90s - I've heard rumors they were made available as high bitrate (256k/s) mp3 files. The trouble is that very few copies were made and those with them in their possession have not put them into general circulation. I would love to find this set and supplement the files on this site with them. (Please note that yes, I plan to offer 256k/s files for all episodes in the near future).
Interview programs. I have several interview programs dealing with Vic and Sade, but I do not have them all, and some of the ones I do have (eg. The Antique Ear) are poor in quality. Anything you might help with will benefit all Vic and Sadists.
Text articles. The e-text page is growing. If you have something you think can contribute to the page then by all means let me know. Scanning magazines and creating pdf files has proven a challenge but I think I'm getting the process down. If you wish to do it yourself, we'd want the front cover page, publisher page, table of contents, the article itself, and the back cover page. In short, all the information a student or scholar would require to note proper citation in a formal article or essay.
In all cases, I'd be willing to assist you in creating files or graphics or pdf files, and at the same time I am willing to do it for you, and I will return all source materials to you once it's complete. And, of course, I will acknowledge your contribution if you wish.

Donations. Although I don't particularly fancy the idea of angling for cash, the upkeep of the site and server as well as providing these resources does run into quite a sizable bill. At the same time, the site is free from advertisements and I sell nothing online or offline so there is no mechanism in place to help offset these costs. Therefore, after much introspection and debate, I've decided to sign on with paypal in order to make donations possible. There is no fixed amount required; please use your judgement as to what this site means to you and respond accordingly. Thank you in advance for your help and assistance. Please note: you do not need to be registered with paypal in order to make a contribution.
You may contact me online through the forum.
As a token of my appreciation I'd like to offer this new V&S episode for your enjoyment.
Thank you.
