Beginnings

When these programs were first broadcast, I wasn't born yet. In fact, for some of them, my parents hadn't even been born yet. I was introduced to OTR somewhere in late 1988 or 1989 by a friend. Of course, it wasn't called that at the time, not that I'm aware of, but he was an avid collector who owned thousands upon thousands of episodes from dozens and dozens of shows. Over the next few years he made it a point to provide me with hundreds of tapes of his (and my own) favorite shows, as well as several books of scripts. It is from the kindness and good will of my friend that this site has been made possible.
