I made this site because there were very few good, usable graphics of Duchamp's work on the internet. Accordingly, this site is 17.9 mbs in size, made up of 16 html documents which contain or link to 176 jpgs for a total of 88 images of Duchamp and his work. If there was a shortage, there is less of one now.

You will find here pictures of Marcel Duchamp's art work. I have arranged them according to their type - as much as that was possible. All pictures are small thumbnail views upon which you may click for enlargements. To return to a page, click your browser's back button or just reselect the page from the menu. Some of the pictures are very large and, therefore, slow to load. Please be patient - most of the images are of good quality. There are two black and white photos of paintings for which I am currently looking for color substitutes, but short of buying an art book with color plates I don't hold out much hope. If you plan to view many of the enlargements, you might like to set your monitor's resolution for as high as it can go. Most of the enlargements are quite big.
